Dragon's Dream Tag Challenge Christmas

Told you I was having a play day!
I used Tim Holtz tattered Rose distress ink to tint the tag around the edge, and also to stamp some holly. Then in black versafine stamped the Noel by habico and coloured it in using Sakua gel pens, not played with those for a while. Then over stamped in black versafine with the holly stamps again. Very useful those little holly stamps, seemed to have used then on everything this Christmas!

Merry Christmas

Thought I would share with you a couple of the Christmas cards that I've made this year. Unfortunately the glitter on the Tree card doesn't show up very well. I love to see how the same ink can look completely different on various card stock. The tree's in the background are stamped directly on to stardream card, so it soaks in a bit. Whereas the main image is on Clarity matte card stock which shows the colour off beautifully. The arch window card was a result of a session with the ink bottles getting very mucky! great fun! Merry Christmas and happy New Year love Elizabeth xxx

Rainbow Lady's Challenge 83

Took a leaf out of Jenny's book and combined a challenge with a card that I needed, ie Husbands Christmas card! Have to confess I have been feeling a bit sad over the last few weeks, so decided that today was the day to have some crafting fun!! Hope you like the result.
Stamped the personal impressions rudolph stamp on to wood effect card, then drew around the stamped image with a fine line pen to create a stable and wooden panels. Stamped the image again but on to white card this time, and coloured it in with Lyra Polycolour pencils, cut out the elf, rudolph and door sign and glued them on the stable. Added some shading around the edge of the stable, made a folded back door and added brads for handles. Finished off with fine glitter glue for snow. That had to be the last card, surely?

Crafty Ann's Challenge 3 Texture

I'm not quite sure how clearly this image will show up on here, but here it is anyway.
Today's plan was to spend the day cleaning and sorting things out ready for the Christmas Tree, cards, lights etc to go up. Ups!!!!
Instead have had lovely relaxing play with Cosmic Shimmer UTE and inks, much more fun than cleaning!
Stamped the Clarity seahorse and embossed with yummy Lapis Sapphire UTE, embossed it and then painted in the gaps with pink mica powder. I then gave it a couple of coatings of the Cosmic Shimmer UTE clear embossing powder, cracked around the edges and added some silver ink, to get in to the cracks, then re-heated it. It ended up with such a fab texture, but a couple of bubbles that just would not go, that's where the aurora borialis gem stones came in, as you know I do like a bit of sparkle!

Rainbow Lady's Challenge 81

The challenge was to use a Christmas Carol on a black card base. This is the stamp I bought whilst on the Stamp Addicts retreat back in June (can't wait for next year!) She is by Personal Impressions and I have used her on the bulk of my main Christmas cards.
I coloured her in with Lyra Polycolours and matted her onto silver holographic card and added gems in the corners. I did the same with the words, which are from a very well used Hot Off The Press kit.
I added ribbon and a large sprig of holly left over from a couple of Christmas's ago. Am starting to feel quite festive now, the Christmas light's are on in town, I've had my first mince pie, bring on the mulled wine and I will be happy!!

TIO 25 Blue Moon

Very cold here today, perfect crafting weather! Came upstairs this afternoon to tidy my craft haven and got side tracked by my ever growing box of inks, what an excuse!
Anyway here's my offering for Frankie's TIO 25 Challenge "Blue Moon" good job you can't hear my singing!
Masked off the moon with a post it note, and used Tim Holtz Aqua, Willow and Silver inks to create the background. Stamped Lavinia Fairies in Black Stazon, and then in Teal Blue Stazon added a mixture of snowflakes using some of the Hot Off the Press acrylic stamps.
Another Christmas card off the list!!!!
