It was my turn to choose the theme over at Frosted Designs and as we are nearly into rainy April, I shall say no more!!!
I started off by gessoing a 12"x12" canvas, then adding layers of drips of paint, starting with the darkest colour first, and finishing off with pearl to tome down the dark colour, and also add some sheen.
After the last layer of paint had dried, I added some iridescent sequins for some shimmer, then spritzed over again with the pearl.
The BoBunny papers in the Enchanted kit are just stunning, and this beautiful birdbath with birds, was just perfect. I added a sentiment from Kaisercrafts Blue Bay stamps, and after distressing the edges, matting it off centre it onto another piece of paper from the same sheet, added it to the canvas.
Then it was a case of adding some of the gorgeous embellishments from the kit along with a few from my stash. Had to use a clock face as it fitted the sentiment so well.
So lets see drips on your projects, paint, mica, rain or even coffee, leave us a direct link to your project, then we can pop over and have a closer look, and don't forget as always we have a fabulous prize up for grabs!

Kaisercraft Furry Friends Collection for Jones Crafts DT
My first official post as a DT member of Jones Crafts couldn't be with anything more appropriate than these gorgeous Furry Friends papers from Kaisercraft, they are absolutely gorgeous and come in both dog and cat versions.
Bones for the dogs and fish bones for the cats lol, all in gorgeous chocolate and coffee colours :)With the addition of our new family member Daisy of course it had to be the dog papers for me this time to decorate the triple frame from Candy Box Crafts. Each frame comes in two pieces with the holes already drilled in the sides, ready to attach to each other. You could quite easily use foam tape around three edges and be able to slip different pictures in and out for a change.
I made the paper bows from the border strips and die cut flowers from the Hessian patterned paper, these work beautifully as the papers are double sided and hold their shape when die cut. Then the hard part, which side of the paper do I use on the actual frame, as both sides are gorgeous! To finish off I attached all three frames together using some brown twine from my stash, just perfect for the job.
So things I love about my dog.......way too many to mention :)

Dragons Dream TIO - Toffee and Lace
This time around over at the Dragons Dream TIO Julie Ann has chosen the theme of "Toffee and Lace" Yumm!!!
Love George the bear from IndigoBlu and combined with the "z's" from the Bear Hugs stamp set, I thought this fitted the bill perfectly.
The background has been inked with a mixture of Tea Dye and Dried Marigold Distress Inks, as has the stamped image of George, to create a toffee colour.
He has a bed of soft hessian and beautiful cotton crocheted lace, no wonder he is snoozing!
So we would love you to join our challenge this time around, just please don't forget to include toffee, lace and of course at least one real stamp on your tag. Leave us a direct link back to your artwork then we can pay your blog a visit.

Craft Stampers Take It Make It Challenge - Take a Stamp!
Just a little reminder of the challenge over at the Craft Stamper Blog "Take a Stamp". We want you to share your stamping projects with us, they can be absolutely anything as long as there is stamping involved somewhere :)
A clean and tidy card from me this morning as these papers from the Kaisercraft Blue Bay collection are just gorgeous. I've stamped out a sentiment from the matching stamp set and also one of the Kaisercraft butterflies. The card itself is made from one sheet of 12"x12" paper which is folded to create pockets, perfect for a gift card.
We have a fabulous prize up for grabs from Paper Artsy of a set of paints along with a great set of their new stamps. The winner will have their artwork published in the magazine (so please keep it safe) and we will also have a "Spotlight" feature one entrant as well.
So get stamping, leave us a link directly to the individual piece of artwork you are entering, and please don't forget to link back to the Craft Stamper Blog to validate your entry.
Good luck, Elizabeth x

I've used a couple of the new stamps from IndigoBlu, the girl is called "Lost in Thought" and the "Ink Splatter" stamp , also new, was designed by the fabulous Limor Webber. I've finished off with a few paint splats over the top and the word "Dream" from Sarah's Choice.
So check out the amazing inspiration from my team mates over at the Craft Stamper Magazine Blog and get stamping!!!!
