Our new challenge over at the Frosted Designs Blog today is String Art. I must admit this one had me stumped for a while until I remembered making these little flowers with left over wools and a flower loom.
So after a rummage in the gardening cupboard I found some garden string to make my little old rustic flower. I added a mixture of green buttons and also a pin at the back, so that I can also wear it on my apron :)
The rest of the DT have made amazing projects which you can check out HERE and also have a peep at the fabulous prize up for grabs for our winner!
So get creative with string, twine or yarns and enter the challenge to be in with a chance.

Dragons Dream TIO Yellow and Texture
This time around over at the Dragons Dream TIO Sylvia has chosen the theme of "Yellow and Texture"for your tags.
I've been having a play with texture paste and glass glitters over the top of torn paper to create the background for my tag. I also used micro beads and lots of Gee So Good and the very yummy Banana Custard Cottage Garden paint from IndigoBlu
The stamps are from the "Good Times" plate also from IndigoBlu love the mixture of cogs and clock faces in that set.
Just click on the the link and check out the fabulous tags the DT have created, they are uber talented!!!

Craft Stampers Take It Make It Challenge - Take A Stamp
Just a reminder that our new challenge over at the Craft Stamper Blog has started and the theme this month is "Take A Stamp".
We have two fabulous prizes up for grabs from this months sponsors WOW
So get stamping, leave us a direct link back to your project and don't forget to link back to the Craft Stamper Blog, to be in with a chance of winning!!!
I've used one of the papers from IndigoBlu's Belle Epoque selection along with stamps from two of the Grand Tours stamp plates.
The papers take paint and colouring mediums fantastically, and with a thinned down layer of gesso you can change the colour easily, or even just add colour with pencils.
Have a great weekend, Elizabeth x

Frosted Designs Challenge - Mothers
Time for our new Friday Challenge over at Frosted Designs and as it's so close to Mothers day over in the States, we are celebrating Mothers.
I love this photo of Mum and I taken on my Wedding Day, it's one of a few that we are both in together, usually one or the other was behind the camera. It would have been her birthday this week, so this page is in honor of that, and I have a block of white chocolate in the fridge to celebrate later!
All the papers I've used are a mixture from BoBunny, love the pale duckegg and lemon colours. The definition sticker is from heidi Swapp and the flowers are from Petaloo.
As always at Frosted Designs we have a fabulous prize up for grabs, so get creating and leave us a direct link back to your project so we can pay your blog a visit.
