A Bird in the Hand

It's another fusion of IndigoBlu and Kaisercraft today with these gorgeous papers from the Kaisercraft Ma Cherie collection and the Live, Laugh, Love stamp set from IndigoBlu.
Love that stamp set as there are loads of flowers, butterflies, leaves, lace, sentiments and a bird on it.
Have been playing with some Spectrum Aqua Markers and loving the bright colours :)

Happy Crafting

HSNW

I was very proud to be asked to take a class for the HSNW Club over on the Wirral. As some of you know these are the group that work uber hard put on the amazing Stamping Festival at Port Sunlight twice a year.
29 Ladies used a mixture of IndigoBlu Stamps along with some gorgeous Kaisercraft flowers to create a Butterfly canvas, and also a couple of co-ordinating cards, all with fabulous results.

Sadly guess who forgot to take any photo's before everyone left for the evening with their gorgeous projects :(  which is such as shame as they were all amazing and so very different from each other.
Thank you again Ladies for making me feel so very welcome and having a relaxing day of craft.

Craft Stamper Take It Make It Challenge November - Take a Stamp

Just a little reminder that our November challenge over at the Craft Stamper Blog is underway, with a fabulous prize up for grabs from Magenta you can find out more HERE along with the terms of entry for the challenge.

I've used Emporium of Curiosities Mixed Media Cardstack from IndigoBlu, along with the fabulous Chicken stamp from the Funny Bird stamp set and one of my very much used stamps the Honeycomb Background with Chocolate Box Megaflakes

After a little distressing of the edges, adding a few flowers I had a classy card for a very classy bird!!!!!

Have a great weekend.

Craft Stamper Take It Make It Challenge November - Take a Stamp!

Our November challenge has started this morning over at the Craft Stamper Challenge Blog with a theme of "Take a Stamp". So all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this little lot

from Magenta is to include stamping on your project, and follow the entry instructions on the Craft Stamper Blog.

I've used stamps and papers from one of the new Kaisercraft collections, Ma Cherie, the colours are just lovely and have a vintage feel about them, and I love the stamps with this collection. Along with the three Butterflies and sentiment there is also a gorgeous big rose stamp.

So get stamping and join in this months challenge, you could win a great prize or even be featured in the magazine, how cool is that!

My poor neglected blog and a re-vamp!

I have been such a bad blogger over the last couple of months, but am now determined to make amends and catch up with my friends in blogland.  I've made a huge start in my workroom and have now turned the whole room round, to make better use of the space. I am now trying to get everything back in and sorted out into storage boxes.

The box on top is a Tea Box bought from one of the cheaper shops and is perfect for all those little bits and bobs we all collect on our desks. The box with the drawer in is one I decorated a couple of years ago and was in need of a re-vamp.
I covered both in IndigoBlu's Fontastic Ephemera Mixed Media Cardstack, stencilled smooth texture paste through their new Texture Stencil and painted over the top of everything with lots of watered down GeeSsoGood, and I love the finished effect, very shabby chic!

I'll share some more pictures as my room progresses, that way I have to finish it!!!!!
