How fast has this weeks challenge come around again? This week we were given a selection of digi images from Kayla to choose from, tough decision as they were all Lovely!
Decided to go with this image as it reminds me of my old bear. The beary nice (sorry) backing paper is from a kit C&C did a couple of years ago. I used a selection of promarkers to colour the digi image, to try and make him look soft and cuddly. I cut the mat out with a MS punch around the page floral punch and coloured the flowers in with the same colour promarkers I'd used on the bear. The text stamp is an old "home is where the heart is" stamp that I've had for many years, heat embossed with copper WOW powder. Added the bear with foam pads for some dimention, and every good bear should have a bow!!! LOL Elizabeth xxx

Play Date Cafe Challenge 65
There's nothing I like better than a fresh white piece of card, except a nice inky one LOL. I created my background with a mixture of Anna Griffin's flourish stamps with weathered wood and crushed olive distress inks. I bought the cat from Stamp Camp at Port Sunlight in October, it was one of those "I want it" purchases, rather than "I need it" LOL. He is stamped out using a mix of rusty hinge and wild honey distress inks, mounted on to my background and over stamped with another Anna Griffin stamp in crushed olive. Finished off by tinting his eyes green, again with the crushed olive. Forgotten how much I liked that colour LOL Elizabeth x

TIO Fabricate and use words!
Here's my offering for this weeks TIO Challenge Fabricate and use words.
The tag is inked up in a mixture of antique linen, wild honey, brushed corduroy and black soot distress inks. I found a box of bits left over from a HOTP TSV many moons ago, and inside was the printed twill along with a small sheet a mica. Gave the twill a hint of colour with antique linen pad, and added the mica to the bottom corners of the tag using crafters companion stick and spray.
The stamp is one I bought a few years back at Port Sunlight from Stamp Camp, and was stamped out in black soot distress ink. Can you tell I'm ready for summer and the beach! Elizabeth xx

Rainbow Lady's Challenge 136 Highland Fling
Here's my DT card for Cynthia's challenge this week. Spent quite a long time researching for this one, shortbread, fudge, drambuie LOL
The background is the Burns Tartan (so I am assured) so that was my starting point. I typed the poem out and then inked around the edges with tumbled glass and stormy sky distress inks. The image of the man himself, I downloaded from the internet, and again inked the edges with the same distress inks. I have a thing about photo corners at the moment so thats how I attached the image to the card. I added the bright green ribbon and gems to pull all the colours together.

Play Date Cafe Challenge 64
Have followed this blog for quite a while now, and thought it was time to play along! So here's my first effort for you guys.
My background is inked up using a mixture of tumbled glass, weathered wood and black soot distress inks, with the Tim Holtz "Lifes adventure" elephant stamped over the top in brushed corduroy. The image was then attached to the steel grey stardeam card with some Anna Griffin photo corners, the edges of the card were then darkened with black soot and gems were added. Hope I'm worthy Girls. Rainbow Lady's Challenge 135 Sketch
Brrr well here's my DT entry for Rainbow Lady's challenge this week. Chi Chi provided us with a fab selection of images to chose from, so thank you!
Decided to opt for the very cute Snowman, and have him in Apres Ski mode LOL!!! Coloured in both the Snowman and the Hot Chocolate shop (well it is in my head!) with pro markers and cut the images out.
The background papers I've used are all from DCWV. I used Martha Stewart punches for both the snowflake corners and the icicles, whilst the snowflakes around the sentiment are made with a mix of an XCut punch and a Crealies die. All covered with a sprinkling of Art institute glitter!!!

The smaller tag is from Crafty Individuals, I just think she is so pretty. She is coloured in with pro markers and attached to the main tag with an eyelet. I then finished off by adding a couple of Pansies at the bottom corner to blend in with the flower on the smaller tag.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge 134 Its all new to me!
Happy New Year and here's my first challenge as a member of Cynthia's Design Team, of which I am very proud to be. Not that I ever need an excuse for a little "crafty" shopping I treated myself to some Inktense pencils from the Graphicus sale before Christmas, and I love them!
I started by stamping the Graphicus Seahorse with versamark and then embossing with the Silver Bells WOW powder, love the holographic sparkle of this one. The Seahorse was then coloured in with the Inktense pencils and with a fine paintbrush, blended the colours together. The background is a mixture of Tumbled Glass, Shabby Shutters, Mustard Seed and Faded Jeans Distress inks. The seaweed from the same theme plate as the Seahorse was then stamped using Shabby Shutters and iridescent blue gems added. This was then mounted on to a piece of dark blue stardream card, and added to a white base card that had been tinted with Shabby Shutters and Faded Jeans distress ink around the edge. The Seaweed was stamped out in Shabby Shutters, along with some in versamark and embossed with the gorgeous Silver Bells powder again. As you all know I love Seahorses and they will be making a appearance regularly I'm sure LOL. Elizabeth x
