Our Favourite Stamps

Two more of my favourite IndigoBlu stamps for you today. The  background stamp is called Bubbles Background and the A5 stamp set is called Under The Sea

I started with one of my favourite techniques of adding diluted Luscious Powders directly to my background stamp. I spritzed a piece of water colour card and stamped onto it a couple of times to create a full background.

Next I stamped out some of the fish from the set using Black Versafine ink onto a piece of Perfect White Stamping Card. I made sure it was dry before carefully adding colour using the Luscious powders. Remember the stamping card has a coating and doesn't like to get wet, so try not to soak it too much.

Once the fish were dry I cut them out, and ran a coloured pencil around the edge to get rid of any white lines.

I stamped out one of the sentiments from the set and cut that out by hand. Then I spotted this yummy purple card in my stash, it is just the right colour to add a couple of mat's to the project.

To finish off I matted the background and sentiment on to the purple card. Then it was just a case of assembling everything together onto  a C5 white card blank, and adding a few sequins for a little more sparkle, not that you need any more, the Luscious is stunning in real life.

Happy Crafting

Just a little reminder that the Take It Make It challenge is in full swing over at the Craft Stamper Magazine Blog We've had lots of great entries already and you will find loads of inspiration from the rest of the Design Team over on the blog.

I just love the new Cherry Tree Lane collection from Kaisercraft. There are beautiful vintage style papers with soft colours, postmarks, typewriters, telephones and one of my all time favourites, the leather look paper.  It's perfect for making a journal cover, and as you know I am obsessed with books!

The co-ordinating stamps are perfect for creating your own background or creating a main focal point.

So get stamping, follow the simple instructions on the blog and get that project entered for a chance of winning a fabulous prize!

The Butterfly Collector for IndigoBlu

It's my turn to share a project over at the IndigoBlu Blog today.

Craft Stamper Magazine - Take It Make It Challenge January 2017 - Take A Stamp

It's our first challenge of the year over at the Craft Stamper Magazine Blog where we would love to see you projects which include stamping on them.
I've used the Big Butterfly stamp from IndigoBlu first stamped out onto watercolour card using the Luscious Powders and spritzed with water. Then once the images were dry going back in and stamping over the top with Stone Grey Stazon Ink.

I went back in again this time with the Honeycomb Background stamp and Twisted Citron Distress Ink, to create a framework for the Butterflies to hold onto. Just look at the shimmer from the Luscious Powders.......yummy!

As always we have a fabulous sponsor and this time around we have the fabulous ....

Not only do you have the chance to win a fantastic set of stamps......

But also the chance to be featured in the magazine it's self, how cool would that be.

So get creative, add stamping on your project and follow the simple instructions over on the blog to join in the fun, you never know, you could be a winner!
