Intentions Prayer Box - Eileen Hull Inspiration Team

We are living in such uncertain times at the moment. Some days it feels like we are watching a scary movie being played out in front of our eyes.

We need to keep positive thoughts in our heads and love in our hearts ready for when we can get our lives back on a normal keel.

It will Happen!!!!!

But until it does, I will be writing all my intentions on a die cut piece of paper and posting them into my Prayer Box.

When normal returns, I will open the box, pick one intention at random and that's what I'll be doing that day, and for every day until the box is empty.

I covered the gift box with the beautiful Birdsong papers from Mintay, and added the word Prayer from the Journaling Words set in black card.

I'm using my scraps of papers and cutting them using one of the dies from the Bookplate, Hinge and Label Die set.

This was a change of plan, so please cut the slot in (carefull) before you make up the box. The edges of mine look a little messy as it was an afterthought.

I added a hinge to the lip to conceal the slot and make it look like a beautiful decorative box.

People ask me how do I store my dies, so here goes. The Thinlet Dies I cut the packaging apart and add the relevant information, name, No etc to a small piece of mountboard along with a piece of magnetic sheet.

It means the dies are ready to grab and are stored safely with all the infomation I need.

Then they stand in a storage box on the top layer of my Raskog Cart, alongside the Bigz Dies.

So lets set out intentions and look forward to the return of normal, whatever that will be.

Happy Crafting and stay safe,
Elizabeth x

Love this idea...it's a beautiful box and using it for prayers would be brilliant.
I wish I used papers because these are gorgeous, but I wouldn't be satisfied if I hadn't created the backgrounds myself...some of us just NEED to do things the hard way - though I actually find it hard to line papers up perfectly because I've rarely needed to. It's a wonderful project.
Hope you get to do all your wishes!

What a lovely idea Elizabeth - so pretty with the beautiful papers you used and so clever with the slot hidden under the scallops! xx
