Sew on the Go - Using Eileen Hull's Folio Journal Die

 

I love to hand sew and English Paper Piecing is one of my favourite things to do. So I've created a kit that I can grab and head downstairs to watch tv whilst I'm sewing, and all my bits and bobs are safe in one place.

At the back I added two of the pieces to create a boxed compartment, which is big enough to hold a fat quarter of fabric, thread and my fabric glue pen.

I added a mixture of baggies on the centre , a larger one to hold completed pieces and my glue refil. 

And two smaller ones to hold the paper pieces ready for working with.

I looped a piece of felt through to use to keep my pins and needles safe. I love using felt in a project, the flowers die cut perfectly from it.

And created a scissor holder as there's plenty of room inside the journal for storage. This one has two pockets and keeps the points of the scissors safe.
