This was such a simple fun project to do using Eileen's Slotted Treat Box. I only needed the large section of the box to be cut from matboard as I wasn't going to use the lid or handles.

I found a pad of 8"x8" Graphic45 Halloween in Wonderland in my stash with images that are perfect for creating a scene within the box it's self. The main scene is Alice looking at the Queen who is sending her through the keyhole to the Palace.

All the sides of the box are covered in paper from the collection, and the Mad Hatter was fussy cut from another full picture.

I used Sizzix Crepe Paper (fabulous stuff) to create the Red Roses, from the florals in  Eileen's Envelope, Folder & Flowers die set (another must have!). but of course as it's Halloween the Roses are a dark shade of Magenta with Midnight Blue Glass Glitter for a wonderful sheen.

I had selected brass feet to add to the box, but in true Alice in Wonderland style, they've walked off never to be seen again........

Steampunk Spells

This month I've created a Steampunk themed journal using Eileen's new Field Notes & Specimen Card Die.

I've used Graphic45 papers from my stash and created flowers from crepe paper using dies from Eileen's Envelope, Folder & Flowers set. I cut an assortment of dies out in black card and embossed them with the new Keys 3D embossing folder. A quick swipe of the gorgeous gold Luster Wax from Sizzix and they make the perfect Steampunk embellishment.

I hope you enjoy a flip through my journal.

Eileen Hull Chapter Three Realease party

https://elizabethr-thecraftyrobin.blogspot.com/2023/07/eileen-hull-chapter-three-realease-party.html

We are all super excited for the launch of Eileen's new Chapter Three releases. Here's what Eileen has to say about them.....

The Bigz Plus Slotted Treat Box measures 6 1/2” x 5” x 3 1/2” and can hold so many things- a set of cards, journals, doll clothes, ephemera storage or you can even use it as a gift box! This is a Scoreboards die which is specially designed to cut and score thick material like matboard, chipboard, leather, felt, fabric and metal. *A 9” wide machine is required to cut this die.
The Field Notes and Specimen Card die is a Bigz XL die that holds 5” x 7” pages or photos- a new orientation! The Specimen Card may be used to hold photos, as a journaling card or a shaker. Holes are pre-cut into the book spine which is adjustable from 1/2” to 1 1/2 in width. *XL Cutting Pads will be needed to cut the book cover.
The Envelope, Folder & Flowers Thinlits dies is made up of nine dies- an adorable mini envelope, file folder, set of small, medium and large hearts, and a large and small flower and leaf set. This die set will be perfect to create ephemera using your scraps!
The Keys 3D Embossing Folder is special to me. The keys all came from my Dad’s house. The names on the keys had to be removed because of possible copyright issues, but I love the idea of stamping or writing words on them. The detail on this is beautiful and I can’t wait to add Luster Wax to make the design pop!
