I'm loving these new Christmas stamps from IndigoBlu, the font is just lovely and designed to work perfectly with the megaflakes, Chariot of Fire in this case.
The background card had been made from spritzing Ruby Slippers, Cinderella and Goldfinger metallic paints, then using a paper distresser around the edges.
Seem to be in a pink mood at the moment, not like me at all lol.

Crafty Individuals October Challenge
A very quick last minute dash to enter the Crafty Individuals October Challenge with one of my favourite stamps, Jingle Bells.
I made my super shiny background by spritzing metallic paints onto card, letting it dry naturally so the mica shines more, then using a paper distresser around the edges. I stamped out the Jingle Bells in Archival ink, then stamped and added the words with a white background so they were a little clearer to read. Finally I couldn't resist adding some tiny gems for more stars in the night sky.
I layered the stamped card onto some more spritzed card, added a couple of scrap bits at the side, then finished off with some twine a some real jingle bells.

Another Scrapbook page
This is the matching page to the one I shared last week, I am so addicted to these papers, they are just gorgeous!
I love the soft peachy colours and they work so well with my black and white pictures. This is my Uncle Gordon and I balancing on the staircase at the St Georges Hotel in Llandudno, with a huge crowd watching at the bottom. If you could read my lips I was saying, "don't let go of me"!
So as you can possibly tell I'm back in to scrapbooking again, all triggered off by these gorgeous papers!

Shabby Tea Box
So when is a tea box not a tea box? When it's been recycled and given a new shabby chic image!!
My box started life as one of a set, so more to follow when I've decorated them. I've been using up scraps of the gorgeous Rustic Harmony papers that I had left over, that weren't big enough to make cards with, but were too gorgeous to throw away! I stamped out some of the sentiments and inked them up with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, and used the left over flowers and leaves from my mirror project.
I'm going to enter this in to the Craft Place Challenge which is Shabby Chic.

Swish Fish - for IndigoBlu
This is one of the first samples that I made for IndigoBlu, it's a gorgeous stamp plate with loads on there, and I think most of you know I love anything seaside by now lol.
The background is a mix of Townhouse Teal with Goldfinger spritzer over the top, and both the fish and the shells have been painted with mica powder for a sheen. The bubbles were stamped in Townhouse Teal as well.
Happy Saturday :)

Sunday Stampers #328 Autumn Leaves
o
I love Hel's theme this week over at The Sunday Stamper's "Autumn Leaves" there a hundreds of them in my garden, the price you pay for living alongside woods! Not that I'm complaining, the colour changes are fabulous, rusts, reds and golds, beautiful.
I decided to give my mirror a little makeover, well it was hugely expensive, from the big blue shop, have to get my monies worth lol. And thought I'd incorporate Hel's theme, with leaves and of course flowers.
This sheet of butterflies is one of the gorgeous Rustic Harmony papers, that I just couldn't bring myself to chop up, so having such a big area to cover was far less painful, as there are lot's still showing :) and I have some left!!!!
All the flowers are Rustic Harmony papers cut out with the Mini Tattered Florals die along with leaves and twigs cut out with the Autumn Gathering die, love both of those. The edges are inked in Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, to hive then a little more vintage feel, and pearls added to the centres of the flowers.
The stamps that match the paper collection are gorgeous and stamp out perfectly every time. Took a chance and added the "Laughter and Love" after I'd glued down the paper lol, would have cried if it all went wrong!
The butterflies and the "Live, Laugh, Love" sentiment were stamped onto cream cardstock and aged with Brushed Corduroy ink to blend in.
So there you have it, my new mirror frame, and I even managed to keep myself out of shot lol.
Happy Crafting Elizabeth xx
I'm also going to enter this into the Craft My Life Challenge Oct/Nov
And also into Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Craft Stamper's Take It Make It Challenge Multicolour Stamping!
There's still plenty of time to get stamping and enter the Take It Make It Challenge over at The Craft Stamper's Blog with multicolour stamping.
The chosen winner will not only receive a fab prize but also have there project in print in the magazine, so keep them in a safe place, and don't forget to leave us a direct link to the piece of artwork you are submitting, so myself and the rest of the design team can hop on over and have a nosey!
All the stamps I've used this time are from Lavinia Stamps and just perfect for my mystical background!
I'm never quite sure what this stamp is really, it gets used as a feather or foliage, and fits the bill either way. I stamped it us using three different shades of brilliance ink, then spritzed and stamped out quickly on to IndigoBlu's gorgeous stamping card. The effect is quiet ethereal, and I can't quite get a good photo of the sheen.
I finished off with inspirational words and lots of very sparkly glitter!
So get stamping and enter the challenge!!!!

Rustic Harmony from Kaisercraft
I've been catching up on making samples for my demo next month for Jones Crafts, and over the next few weeks I'll be sharing my projects here on my blog.
It's been ages since I did any scrapbooking, but when the gorgeous new Rustic Harmony papers from Kaisercraft landed, how could I resist!
The papers are all double sided, which makes choosing which side to use the hardest decision, as everything mixes and matches so beautifully.
The colours are so beautiful, soft and vintage, I didn't want to add too much else to them, just some plain card, Prima Flowers, pearls and cotton lace from my stash.
There are card embellishments and also a sheet of gorgeous clear stamps to match, which will make an appearance soon!
This photo is one of my favourites, my big Sister, my beautiful Mum and me scrubbed up! We didn't know the picture was being taken at the time, so it's very natural which I love.
Will add another page on soon, thanks for looking, Elizabeth xxx
