Rainbow Lady's Challenge #198 Carolines Butterflies
This week over at Rainbow Lady's Challenge blog we are being sponsored by Caroline, who creates some fab digi images, and if you are at the Happy Stampers show at Port Sunlight you can also have a look at her great selection of stamps etc. I have layered up my butterflies, and shaped the wings for a little movement. The colour is so pretty that I decided to keep the rest of the card white to show them off. Hope you pop over and join in via the link on my sidebar to be in with a chance to win a fab prize. Still Awake lol
Well after several buckets of caffine I'm still standing and have managed to make three headbands (one was downstairs when I took the piccie and I am up lol),and also four more felted corsages, so have had a productive day at last.
These have turned out a bit bigger than the last batch, don't know how I managed that one!!! Need to make about another 50 of these before the Vintage Easter Fair in Llanrwst, as they always sell. I have two days there then it's back down to Conwy for a Sunday Country Market. Summer season here we come!!

Can't Sleep!!
Was lay in bed watching the space station passing by at 3am, wide awake!! So I decided to get up, brew up and make a start on new stock for the Country Market. I've also got a few more other craft fairs lined up next month, so I needed a topping up session. Before 10am I'd finished 7 pairs of earrings, 11 stretch bracelets and one cuff bracelet, all made from glass, shell or crystal (the photo doesn't show the sparkle off very well).
The cuff may not make it to the stand.................... lol. xxx

Rainbow Lady's Challenge 197 House and Home
This week over at Rainbow Lady's Challenge we would love to see you projects relating to "House and Home". The little bird houses are the first thing you see when you walk through my front door, and I love them! The houses and the chipboard birds were from Crafty Individuals, painted with Eco Paint and then the birds were stamped over with dictionary meanings from Stamp Camp, all with crafty meanings. The whole thing is balanced using twigs from the Ash tree at the top of my garden. I hope you enjoy this weeks challenge and pop over to join us using the logo on my sidebar to take you there. Dragons Dream TIO 112 The Thorn Birds
A very dark and gloomy looking tag from me this time, not intentional, just the way it ended up. Sort of reminds me of a 1950's tattoo! Silvia has chosen the theme for us this time, with the book "The Thorn Birds" one of my favourite books and films. This choice did make me laugh a lot though as I work as a Secretary for a Priest, lol............ more Father Ted than Thorn Birds!!!!!
I had geat fun creating the backgound with a mixture of different distress stains and inks, spritzing with water and then adding copper mica powder in to it.
Hope you enjoy our challenge this time and pop over via the link on my sidebar to join in the dream, just remember to use at least one real stamp on your tag! Elizabeth xxx

Shamballa
I so have to stop making things I like for the market, as none of them get there! I decided to have a go at making a Shamballa bracelet, and well, it does go very well with my watch don't you think? How can I part with it lol. I have more beads and will make some more before weekend as we have two fairs, phew! Have also fake tanned since this photo was taken so look less pale and vampire like now lol. xxx

Facinating!
Had a great day out on Monday at WI House in Denbigh, where we learned how to make a facinator. It's very gorgeous ivory silk in the flesh, and I am quite pleased with my little self for finishing it!! All the sewing of small beads on to the silk with invisible thread was hard work, but worth it in the end lol. May have a go at something a little smaller to sell at the CM, but don't think there would be a lot of call for one of these.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge #195 Red, Brown and Cream
This week over at Rainbow Lady's Challenge the theme is Red, Brown and Cream. I found this image over at the Free Vintage Digital Stamps site (see the logo on my sidebar) whilst I was hunting for"Alice" images, and just couldn't resist it! I mean it was just shouting out for this challenge lol. I used promarkers to colour the birds, and then inked around the edge with vintage photo distress ink, before matting on to some gorgeous rusty red Kanban card and attaching to a cream cardbase, again inked around the edge with vintage photo distress ink. We would love you to share your creations with us this week, using Red, Brown and Cream, just click on the link on my sidebar to join in. Elizabeth x

TIO #111 Alice in Wonderland
Wow how quicky have these last two weeks gone? Over at Dragons Dream TIO our theme this time is Alice in Wonderland, chosen by AJ.
I had intended to go down to West Shore in Llandudno and photograph the statue of the White Rabbit to share with you, sadly I've not had chance. I didn't have any stamps at all for this theme, thank goodness for Pamela over at Free Vintage Digital Stamps (click the logo on my sidebar) where I found this fab image! I coloured Alice and animals, using promarkers, then added black soot distress ink to create some mood. The text stamp is from PSX, and all those little playing cards are from one of Joanna Sheenes cd's, inked around the edge to age them. I hope you enjoy our challenge this time, just click on the Dragons Dream logo on my sidebar to pop over and join in, just please remember to use at least one real stamp! This challenge will run for two weeks. Elizabeth x
