Pink Christmas Bah Humbug Challenge

Ups I am so sorry Ladies, I have done the challenges over the last couple of weeks, but have not put them on here for you to see. Life is in the way of my crafting at the moment, but I promise my Christmas Card box is filling up!
Here's my pink Christmas, all paper's and the holly embellishment are from Anna Griffin, both the Christmas pudding and text stamp are personal impressions, and coloured with pro markers. Would have posted this last night, but decided to add to stickles at the last min, that just would not dry in time!!! Am back, please free to shout at me if I don't post!!!!! Elizabeth xxx

Tio Texture mk2

Well as you know I was not happy at all with my first attempt at this tag, so have redone and not used the 3 dimensional medium this time, just irridescent heat proof sequins for the textured element. Changed the embossing powder colours to tropic violet and lapis blue cosmic shimmer UTEE. Will have another play with the 3d medium, less is more and it really needs to be pressed in to the paper, otherwise if lift's up far too much. Hope you like this one better. Elizabeth xxx

Tio Texture

Not too sure about this tag. I stamped out three fish and one seahorse in black over a tag, that I had painted in Rose Hue cosmic shimmer paint. Some where along the way I lost my fish!!!!!!!!! Ups! Added cosmic shimmer UTE in clear along with some Lapis Black and Tropic Violet around the edges of the tag. then coloured some 3-dimentional fabric medium with cosmic shimmer Redfire and added some heat proof sequins and glitter! Not tried this before, and that's the bit I'm not happy with? All advice welcome? Think I may have heated the sequins too long, or used to much of the 3d medium? Hey Ho another lesson learnt Love Elizabeth xxx

Tio 34 Under the moons shadow

Am very proud this week to be Frankie's guest designer for the Tio Challenge, and hope that you all join in with me.
Thought I would give my red and green ink pads a rest this week and have a play with blue for a change!
All the stamps used for this tag are from Clarity. I inked around the edge of the tag in faded jeans distress ink, then using torn paper created some mountains. Stamped the tree's, moon shadow and foliage in faded jeans. Then added the horse's, some more foliage and another moon shadow in black versafine, to give some mood to the picture, and hopefully to balance it out a little.
Thank you all for taking the time to have a look at my blog, and I hope you will all enjoy joining in with the challenge. Love Elizabeth xxx

Red, Black and Gold with a little Oriental!

Have had a play with triple embossing this afternoon. Inked up the edges of a piece of card with fired brick ink, then stamped over with black versafine. Layered up clear embossing powder and heated about three times. Around the edge of the last layer I also added some gold embossing powder for contrast. Matted on gold mirri board, then added to the front of a red card which I'd already stamped some oriental writing in black. Found the Oriental silhouette and added her to finish the card off.

Tio 33 Windows and Doors

This week's challenge made me think of Paris and the amazing architecture of the buildings. We found a gorgeous little cafe in the back streets that made us feel like we had stepped back in time.It had beautiful ironwork and wooden paneling, with a shabby chic paint job that Tim Holtz would be proud of! Started off with a stamped image received in a swap from Tess, and coloured in with a mixture of pro markers and distress inks. The main body of the tag has been inked with brushed corduroy, scattered straw and peeled paint. The old labels and postage stamps were left over from another project, and after adding some brushed corduroy ink around the edges fitted the bill perfectly.

Through my window

This is my new fairy stamp from Lavina, I seem to have quite a collection of them now!
Created the background with peeled paint and scattered straw inks, added some branches around the edge with peeled paint, then stamped the fairie and spinning Jenny's in black versafine. The window is made from a fisker's template that I downloaded a while back from one of the magazines web sites. And the verse popped in to my head whilst I was stamping...... daft but it made me laugh!

Bah Humbug Embossing Challenge

One day I will learn to scan my pictures in straight !!! I'd forgotten I had the Reindeer stencil, it's one of Nellie Snellens from a couple of years ago. Embossed the Reindeer, cut them out, added the eye's and shiny noses. I embossed the card with cuttlebug's snow folder, and added some Christmas ribbon to finish it off. The ribbon looks wonky in the picture, but I promise it's not, honest.

TIO 33 Alternative Spring

Here's my offering for the challenge this week. I've been playing with fired brick and antique linen ink pads to create a background. Stamped Anna Griffin swirls stamp in fired brick then stamped Elusive Images spring stamps in versafine. Coloured the flower in with pro markers and added some Tim Holtz distress crackle paint around the edges. Once dry I rubbed over the cracks with heirloom gold perfect pearls, which doesn't show up very well in my picture.
Red is so not Spring.......
