The Social Butterfly Journal

2025 is not that far away now and I am determind to be more organised next year............... so I've created a journal, a Social Butterfly Journal to keep all my social media plans in. I have an inspirational quote on the bottom of every other page.

The covers are decorated using gorgeous papers from 49&Market with a little over stencilling from Eileen's latest stencil set.

The two signatures are held in place with a piece of ribbon with a leaf charm cut with Eileen's new Charm Die set.

So now I have a beautiful book of inspiring quotes to list my Social Media Posts in. That way I can tick them off as I've shared them.

Comfort and Joy with Eileen Hull Designs

 

It's the start of the festive season and the Comfort and Joy series is underway with Eileen Hull and her Team. We are all sharing a little something for the season.

I chose to use the new Bookmark, Pockets and Toppers set to creat three little co-ordinating Christmas Tag Pockets ready to be popped into a journal. I cut out all of the elements needed, and positioned the circle carefully over the little house paper so as to get a whole house image.

I gently inked around all the pieces using Weathered Wood Distress Oxcide as this gives a little light shading and coveres over any white edges.

Once the ink had dried it way just a matter of layering them up with a dot or two of wet glue.

There you have three very simple Tag Pockets ready for use in a Christmas journal, or even on the front of a card.
