Crafty Ann's Challenge metallic
It's good to be back in the land of blog again, life does get in the way sometimes!
Thanks to the lovely Ms Tuck setting my brain in action last week, when she shared her gorgeous frames with the C&C viewers, I decided to have a little play myself!
The frame is one I made at the Stamp Addicts retreat last year it was originally black and purple with a kimono in.
I stripped it carefully back to the paper frame and then dabbed versamark all over adding cosmic shimmer ultra thick embossing powder to it. I chose to use lapis black and violet. I built it up with about three layers and then as per Ms Tuck's instructions melted clear UTEE and some more of the coloured UTEE's on my craft mat. Once hardened, I broke them up and added them onto the frame, having heated the frame to create a bond first. I love this metallic effect, it's a sham it doesn't show up very well in the photo. I made the seahorse last year whilst playing about with some fantasy film, fibres and a clarity seahorse stamp. It's the most fun you can have with an iron!!!!!

This is absolutely gorgeous Elizabeth and so effective. I think I recognise that seahorse....it was on my birthday card with a few buddies - it was gorgeous on there too! A brilliant interpretation of the challenge.
