Autumn at Ali Craft

The theme over at the Ali-Craft blog this time is "Autumn" and it sure is here in North Wales. The woods at the back of our house are golden now, so that's where I've taken my inspiration from, the colour rather than an object.
The background is made up of a mixture of wild honey, tea dye and rusty hinge distress inks, all fab colours for Autumn. The stamps are from Sheena stamped out with Archival ink, and a Marianne die finishes  it off.
So looking forward to Port Sunlight this weekend catching up with Friends and of course a little retail therapy!!!!

This is sooo gorgeous Elizabeth. The trees out back of mine are still green at the moment. Can't wait till they are bare of leaves - that's when you can really what trees are all about.

I love the silhouette effect here, so reminiscent of those wonderful, autumn twilights. I can almost smell that mixture of woodsmoke and the slight chill in the air. Have a lovely time at Port Sunlight. I was at Ally Pally last week and met lots of blog friends for the first time - oh and lots of retail therapy went on too!!! Julie Ann xx
