Here we are with the start of another great new challenge over at the Craft Stamper Magazine Blog we would love you to share your autumnal projects with us, whether they be Autumn scenes or colours, what does Autumn mean to you?
I totally lost myself in this mixed media project, it was great fun up-cycling an old canvas and adding lots of bits and pieces from my work table, before giving it a coat of GeeSsoGood white gesso, then spraying with gorgeous Dylusions Ink sprays. It actually looks a lot brighter in the picture, in real life it's more of a mossy green.
I used one of the large bottle caps from IndigoBlu and added a clock from one of the Altered Ego sets, along with 3D gel drops, metal flowers, buttons and some Melange Art pebbles from Prima. They look so cool with the colour of the ink showing through.
I did a project a few weeks again with the fabulous Dinkie Butterfly from IndigoBlu where I stamped it out on shrink plastic. This was the only one that didn't work out, so I was left with a half Butterfly, which I thought looked like he was sitting, or a view from the side?
The fabulous words are from the Boadicea stamp set, again from IndigoBlu
So as always we have a fabulous sponsor who this time around is That's Crafty who have put up a huge prize of eight stamps sets, yes eight!!
So what are you waiting for, check out the entry terms on the blog page and get stamping. Not only could you be in with a chance of winning, you could also be featured in the magazine its self!!!
Happy Stamping.
Elizabeth
