Craft Stamper Magazine Take It Make It Challenge - Take A Theme - Snow and Ice

It's time for another great challenge over at the Craft Stamper Magazine Blog this time around we would love to see "snow and ice" along with your stamped projects. Think white texture paste, glitter  and sparkle for a cool wintery project.

We are sponsored this time around by The Craft Box supplies of a monthly kit packed with goodies.

Check out the entry requirements over on the blog and get stamping. Not only do we have the fabulous prize from The Craft Box but you could also be in with a chance of having your artwork published in the magazine it's self.

My Snow and Ice project, is a shabby chic junk journal made with left over BoBunny papers from my demo last weekend. The Winter Wishes collection is so beautiful and perfect for the theme this time. I also stamped out the Stag from IndigoBlu's Winterland Wood stamp set in Memento's London Fog ink. After cutting him out I covered him in sequins, gems and of course Unicorn Sparkles.

I just love these little hearts from the Hobby House they are so sparkly, and are perfect for finishing off a bow.

I used lots of odd beads and a couple of metal charms to embellish the cover, and of course sequins, I have a little addiction to those.

I added a layer of clear Super Thick Slap It On with just a small amount of Unicorn Sparkles mixed in with it through the Damaged Damask stencil, all of which you can fin on IndigoBlu's website.

Another addiction.............Doilies, I just love them and hunt them out wherever I go. They make the perfect addition to shabby books and they make the spine of the book look pretty.

You can see the texture paste a little more clearly on this picture of the back of the journal.

I'm now working on the inside, adding lots of pockets, tuck spots and tags, and will share on another blog post when it's completed.

So have fun and please do join in with us this time around with the Take It Make It Challenge.
