Dragons Dream TIO #173 The Letter "O" and Rust!

This time over at the Dragons Dream TIO Julie has chosen the theme of the letter "O" and Rust for our tags. Now I have to say this one got me thinking, what on earth could I use for the letter "O"?
Finally at last, after much searching I remembered the Tim Holtz Blueprint stamps with an oak leaf and acorn, phew!!!!!
My base tag has been inked with a mix of Distress Ink with Eton Mess Mega Flakes added to the bottom of the tag.
The acorn and leaves were stamped using Distress Inks and water brushed, for a little more shading, with the same inks.
The rust around the edge of the tag is Bright Copper Sparkle Medium from Imagination Crafts.
We love to see what you create following our recipe, just follow the link and as always please don't forget to use at least one real stamp on your tag.

Craft Stamper's Take It Make It Challenge - Bottles!

Over at the Craft Stamper's Blog you will find the new Take It Make It Challenge for April - Bottles!!!
Decisions, decisions should it be wine, altered or perfume? Bottle box, tag or a card? The choice is yours as long as your project has bottles, has been stamped, and has a direct link back to your blog posting, so the DT can pay you a visit.
My background was made with Dylusions sprays with mica powder spritzed over, and in real life has a pink sheen over the turquoise. The stamped image has been coloured with Lyra Polycolour pencils, they blend so well but the mica still shows through.

I added a little Black Soot around the edges, then matted onto black card, then to finish off a couple of Tim Holtz corners, love that little stamp.
You can find more inspiration on the Craft Stamper Blog from the rest of the Design Team and also in the new magazine which is out today!

Dragons Dream TIO 112 The Thorn Birds

A very dark and gloomy looking tag from me this time, not intentional, just the way it ended up. Sort of reminds me of a 1950's tattoo! Silvia has chosen the theme for us this time, with the book "The Thorn Birds" one of my favourite books and films. This choice did make me laugh a lot though as I work as a Secretary for a Priest, lol............ more Father Ted than Thorn Birds!!!!!
I had geat fun creating the backgound with a mixture of different distress stains and inks, spritzing with water and then adding  copper mica powder in to it.
Hope you enjoy our challenge this time and pop over via the link on my sidebar to join in the dream, just remember to use at least one real stamp on your tag! Elizabeth xxx
