This month over at Eileen Hull Designs we are creating Journal Fodder. I love doing this and having those elements ready to pop into a new journal is great. I chose three colours of plain cardstock to coordinate with the super pretty paper pack from P13. I die cut Mini Slimline and Tickets, Journaling Card and Envelope and also Shadowbox Elements.
I used the same dies to cut out the Birdhouse papers and then I set to work fussy cutting out the elements from the paper pack. Then it was playtime! Using the Die Cuts I auditioned the fussy cuts and die cut pieces to create journal fodder. So fun and very easy to do.
The envelope has a journal card and is decorated on both sides, so it can bed added into a journal as a flip pocket.
The oval die cut makes a really interesting shape to add into the mix along with a tab and layered fussy cut pieces.
The long slim die cut from the Mini Slimline and Tickets set makes a fabulous background and will be a great side pocket.
These papers are so beautiful that they don't need anything else adding, just use them as they've been die cut.
Again just have fun layering up the die cuts and playing with the plain colours with the patterned paper.
I love all the Birdhouses in this collection they are so pretty and very different to my normal choice of paper.
So there you have it my little collection all ready to be added into a new journal.
Happy Crafting

Great idea to cut them with coordinating cardstock! Simple and elegant!
loving what you did here and especially that paper collection you used. Can you tell me the name of the paper used and where do I purchase it please and thank you
forgot to check email comment box
Lois I think the paper is by P13- not sure about the name of it
Hi Lois it's a P13 paper collection called Birdhouse. If you pop that into your search engine it should pull up where it's in stock. Hope that helps. Elizabeth
