Eileen Hull Inspiration for Fabric, Lace, Fibres and Yarns

 

This month the Eileen Hull Teams are sharing inspiration and tips on how to incorporate Fabric, Lace, Yarns and Fibres etc into your projects. I think we all have boxes of scrap pieces that we just can't throw away because they might be small, but they are just beautiful, right!

I've created a Junk Journal using Eileen's Large Journal Die, it's just the perfect size as it's an A4 Bigz Die, so you can cut lots of different substrates. The papers are the Coral Vintage Artistry from 49&Market, and just stunning. I didn;t realise when I chose the paper for the spine that I actually know where that address is........how cool is that. It's in Chester which isn't that far away from where I live.

 

 I used cotton scrim folded in half, sprayed it with starch and ran it carefully through using the Button Embossing Folder. Then I set it aside to dry naturally. You can just about see the texture in the background. I used more scrim on the spine of the journal for extra strength, and a selection of gorgeous Sari Silks to create a Tassel.I left the holes in the spine as this allowed me to attatch the Tassel and also a Metal Embellishment with ease.

Eileen Hull New Stamp Release - Topping up my Ephemera Stash

 

I am totally in love with the new stamps Eileen Hull has released through Maker Forte they are definately going to be living on my desk!

They co-ordinate beautifully with Eileens Snail Mail Die Set, so you can create your own set of stamps.

I cut out and partially stamp out my images before tearing along the perferations and adding more stamping or ink.

I also love that the background Die for the set is makes a perfectly sized Post Card.

And by using different coloured ink pads onto previously tea died papers, they look so authentic.

I really did have loads of fun creating these, and now I have a stash ready to go into my next journal.

How cute do these small ATC sized envelopes look, and again perfect for slipping into a pocket of a journal.

You can custom each one to be different, or batch make.

And the Button Cards are delightful.

An again add different colours with your stamping. But above all Enjoy...

Craft Stamper Magazine Challenge March 2018

Just a little reminder that the challenge over at the Craft Stamper Magazine Blog is under way.
