Spring has definately arrived here at the Seaside, and I can't think of anything more Spring like than these happy colours.

I made a full tutorial over on my YouTube channel HEREfor the outer cover,  using Eileens Mandala, Camper Van and Folio Journal Dies.

I think you can probably tell that I got very painty and loved playing with the new mediums from Sizzix, right up my street!

Happy crafting.

Craft Stamper's Take It Make It Challenge

The is still plenty of time to join in the Take It Make It challenge over at the Craft Stamper Blog
where you will finds lots of inspiration from the DT and there are some yummy PaperArtsy paints up for grabs!!
I decided to use the same stamp again, just to show how different it looks with a funky coloured background on canvas.
Very bright colours for me, but I wanted to do something outside of my "comfort" colours. I stencilled versamark ink through the Harliquin stencil and embossed with the same black powder as my butterfly for a total contrast against the background.
Love this tecnique as it creates a great texture and you can lift several prints off your block whilst cleaning it!

Well I tidied up a bit.......................

After a long morning in work I decided that I would make a start on my workroom (yet again) and this time would not allow myself to be distracted by things I'd forgotten about. Well I sort of lasted about an hour before finding the MDF hearts that I'd painted up a couple of weeks back, and as I already had the paste and stencil out on my desk................................... I just couldn't help myself, I am an addict lol.
Might price this one up and take it to the country market in the morning. xxx
