Craft Stamper's Take It Make It Challenge Multicolour Stamping!
There's still plenty of time to get stamping and enter the Take It Make It Challenge over at The Craft Stamper's Blog with multicolour stamping.
The chosen winner will not only receive a fab prize but also have there project in print in the magazine, so keep them in a safe place, and don't forget to leave us a direct link to the piece of artwork you are submitting, so myself and the rest of the design team can hop on over and have a nosey!
All the stamps I've used this time are from Lavinia Stamps and just perfect for my mystical background!
I'm never quite sure what this stamp is really, it gets used as a feather or foliage, and fits the bill either way. I stamped it us using three different shades of brilliance ink, then spritzed and stamped out quickly on to IndigoBlu's gorgeous stamping card. The effect is quiet ethereal, and I can't quite get a good photo of the sheen.
I finished off with inspirational words and lots of very sparkly glitter!
So get stamping and enter the challenge!!!!

Dragons Dream TIO #159 The Letter "F" and the Colour Green
This time around May has chosen the theme of the letter "F" and Green for our challenge over at the Dragons Dream TIO.
I love these little Fairy houses that Tracy Dutton of Lavinia Stamps designed, they are so cute and quirky. I used Lyra Polycolour pencils to colour them in against a background made from an Imagination Crafts Pearly Paint Pallet and Picket Fence Distress Stain, through one of their stencils, phew not easy to say lol. I've also got some of the Sparkle Medium around the edge of the tag but it doesn't show up very well in the photo.
I am also going to enter this into Lavinia Stamps challenge as well, if I'm not too late.

Dragons Dream TIO #133 "While Dragons Dream"
Here we are at Dragons Dream with our first challenge of 2013, and in honour of our Dragon, Frankie, our challenge this time is "While Dragons Dream". We would love to see some mythical creatures, a night sky, a full moon and at least one real stamp on your tag.
I've had a bit of a break over the last few weeks, so it's great to get back in my very tidy workroom (not for long) and get my hands inky again!
I've used a mixture of different shades of blue distress inks for my background, with a punched out mask for the moon. My Lavinia dragon is flying across a sky of iridescent stars, and away to a land of dreams!
We hope you enjoy our challenge this time, to join in just click on the link on my sidebar.
My resolutions this year, to always carry my mug of hot coffee by the handle, and not to let any opportunities pass me by!! What are yours ?
Happy New Year

Dragons Dream TIO #130 Magical Mystery
This time over at Dragons Dream Monique has inspired us to dream magical, mysterious dreams with a sprinkling of Fairy Dust!
I masked off the moon and used three different shades of blue distress ink along with black soot to create my base tag. The snowflakes and the sentiment, perfect for this one hey, are from an old set from HOTP. The houses are from Crafty Individuals and my Fairies (complete with the required Fairy Dust lol) are from Lavinia Stamps.
I've been adding these snowflakes on to everything at the moment, they are so pretty, this one had a little distress treatment though, to blend in.
Pop over to our challenge via the link on my sidebar and check out the great tags my team mates have come up with and join in our magical dreams, please don't forget to use at least one real stamp on your tags. Happy Dreaming Elizabeth x

Dragons Dream TIO #129 Handle With Care!!
Well here we are again with another challenge. This time it's over to the very talented Silvia who has chosen the theme "Handle With Care" along with an animal and a warning.
I've been painting and drawing again just recently, full circle for me as this is where I started out selling my artwork over 30 years ago. I started by creating a watery background with pan pastels then carefully drew my mermaid over the top. I took out some of the colour using an eraser then coloured in my mermaid again using the pan pastels. The stamp I've used is from Lavinia and stamped out in Tumbled Glass Distress ink.I added a little journalling and the tag will have a new home in the journal I'm working in at the moment with a whole load of fish, seahorses and other mermaids. We hope you enjoy our challenge this time, come over to join in and check out what my fab team mates have been up to, the link is on my sidebar, just don't forget the recipe and at least one real stamped image.
