Flower Power
A frosty offering from me today using the new Flower Power stamp from IndigoBlu.
I stamped out the image in Gothic Purple Stazon ink onto a piece of 5 1/2" square watercolour card.
Then I started adding colour to the image with Luscious Powders, starting first with the beautiful Coral and building up the depth with Orange, Penny Dreadful, Raspberry and Verdigris.
After making sure everything was dry, I then went over some of the flower centres and shading lines using a Pigma Micron pen, to give more definition. I also added a hand written sentiment.
Next I added a piece of double sided adhesive sheet cut to size, ready to add my Unicorn Sparkles on.
So now my Autumnal flowers have a gentle frosty sparkle and were ready to mount onto a co-ordinating matt on a 6" square white card blank.
Happy Crafting.

Flowers are the Life - IndigoBlu
Good morning from the cold, wet and windy Welsh coast. Days like these are just perfect for a good crafting session in the warm, with plenty of hot drinks and biscuits!
I think we have all fallen in love with the new Victorian Garden set of stamps, they are absolutely gorgeous, and as always Kay finds the perfect sentiments to accompany the designs.
I started off by blending four shades of Luscious Powders to a Bockingford tag, letting it dry, and then adding another layer over the top. See how the colour becomes richer with the extra layer.
Whilst the second layer of Luscious Powders were still wet, I flicked water over the top, and left it to do it's own thing.
As it's drying out it creates the most beautiful patterns with the Luscious Powders they are almost like snowflakes, now there's another idea!!
Once the tag had completely dried out, I stamped out the Dandelion from the Victorian Garden Stamp Set three times, and heat embossed them using a fine white embossing powder from Stampendous.
Then with the small flower stamp, added some floating seeds being carried away on the breeze. These were also heat embossed with the fine white powder. This is such a useful stamp as it could be snow, stars or all sorts of things.
I wanted the tag to have a soft pretty look, so I decided to stamp the sentiment using Hydrangea Blue Stazon ink, as Black would have been too hard. I edged around the tag with the same ink, to tie the colours together.
Next using the 2in1 Glue Pen from Stix2 I added some Unicorn Sparkles. The pen nib is so fine and is just perfect for adding details exactly where you want them. If you haven't tried one, then you definitely need to, they are a must!
I hope you have a great weekend, happy crafting.

Sparkle!
The Circle Dots Background stamp makes a fabulous firework display !!!
I cut a piece of watercolour card to 5 3/4" square as I love working with 6" square cards. I added diluted Luscious Powders in lots of different colours randomly to the stamp.
I then spritzed the stamp with water to make sure all the luscious was wet, then applied the stamp to the watercolour card. I even managed to get a couple of extra impressions from the stamp for future use.
I decided not to spritz the card as I like the effect and the powders were starting to move on the watercolour card anyway.
Whilst that was drying I mixed some Purple Luscious Powder in with some Super Thick Slap It On it has a beautiful soft sheen when mixed in, and I couldn't resist adding a little of the Unicorn Sparkles for a little extra glimmer.
I applied the paste through the Sparkle and Glisten Stencil and carefully lined the edge of the watercolour card with some of the green Luscious powder, before setting it on one side to dry.
It was then Matted onto a piece of lilac cardstock slightly bigger than the watercolour card and added to a 6" square card blank, and as always I just can't resist a sequin or two!!
Happy Crafting,

Don't Wait For The Moments........
Hi I'm back with another magical canvas this time using the beautiful new Jewel stamp from IndigoBlu
I started by adding Fine Modelling Paste through the gorgeous new Butterfly stencil. In the center I added one half of the wings (all will become clear) and down each side I added the beautiful floral spray. Once the paste was dry I gave the whole canvas a coat of White GeeSsoGood and set it aside to dry.
I created a masterboard using a mixture of colours blended roughly together on a piece of white card stock. Once that was dry I stamped out a selection of Butterflies and one of the sentiments from the Floral Fantasy Stamp Set
After stamping out Jewel using Onyx Black Versafine, I carefully cut him out, and cut off his horn to create a horse. I watercoloured him using the new Luscious Pigment Powders and after giving him a quick blast with a heat gun I added Unicorn Sparkles to his mane and tail. I cut the sentiment into strips and cut out a selection of the Butterflies, ready to add on to the canvas.
Starting at the center of the canvas I added Marshmallow blending out towards the edge with Coastal Walk and Kingfisher Blue Cottage Garden paints.
Then working from my Luscious pallet I added a mixture of the gorgeous orange, red and purple by using them to watercolour over the texture paste. The colours are just so beautiful and the shimmer has a real wow factor! I then added my beautiful bespoke horse, with the butterfly wings behind him, giving an illusion that he is flying. Using the pink and purple Luscious I gave the wings a hint of colour.
I added butterflies inbetween the lines of the sentiment and some splatters using both the black and white GeeSooGood, and edged around the canvas using Black Soot Distress ink to frame the picture.
See you soon.
