Sadly I missed the Release Party for Eileen Hull's new Sizzix collection. So I have decided to share my makes, one per week over the month of March.
First up is a sneeky peek of both the Storage Box and the Mini Book Die. So this week I'm sharing a few photo's of the fabulous Sorage Box Die. It is cut firstly from Matt Board and then covered with a selection of papers from the Vintage Artistry Essentials designed by Katie Pertiet for 49&Market. These collections are fantastic as they are double sided and you can mix and match with the die cuts perfectly.
The top of the box is decorated using the laser cut elements from the paper kit. The top edge of both the box lid and the box itself paper lace to finish off the edge. All of the edges are brushed with Evergreen Bough Distress Ink, to introduce more colour to the design.
I love the design of this box, there is a lip around the inside of the lid, which means it is held in place perfectly.
It's a fantastic size for storage in any workroom or office and I know I'll be making many more of these as gifts!
Happy Crafting.
