I haven't made a junk journal in ages, and as I have heaps of scrap and left over paper from various collections ................well, time to use some of it up!
I started with a base of Eileen's Notebook cut out from matboard and covered in papers from 7Gypsies. The inside covers have a layer of scrim adhered to them for a shabby look. The pages are made from various ephemera cut our using deckle edged scissors.
The front of the cover has a left over book plate sat upon left over stamp shapes. Everything in this book is a left over :) or a scrap.
The spine of the journal has sari ribbon and square glass beads, and has been woven on Eileen's new loom.
Weaving the beads is definately a learning curve but well worth the time as I love the effect they give.
Happy Crafting.
