It's the time of year when school exams are taking place and the children are getting ready for the summer break. We all like to treat those fantastic teachers to a little something to say thank you, and what better way to wrap that little gift than in a little reuseable drawer. I assembled the drawer from Matboard, and die cut the drawer front out of my patterned paper.
The back of the drawer is visable so I measured the space and cut a piece of paper to size and glued that on.
I measured out a piece of paper that would wrap around the entire drawer, positioning the Butterfly on the top. Using Eileen's double sided tape I carefully wrapped the paper around using a bone folder to keep the corners crisp and square.
To finish off I adhered a couple of pieces of paper lace to the top two sides, one to hide the paper join and two because it just looked so prettty!
It's a great size for a small gift as you can see it fits in a bottle of my favourite nail polish, but could easily hold lip balms, chocolates or other small gifts such as stationery.
Happy Crafting
