Take It Make It Challenge - Christmas with a None Christmas Stamp

As you know our Take It Make It challenge at the Craft Stamper Blog is all about making a Christmas image from a non-Christmas stamp, so here goes..................
 Per pick up a Penguin lol or rather a perfume bottle stamp from Joanna Sheen. I know I can't help my northern humour, and I love these quirky little fella's.

And by giving him some eyes in the loops of the ribbon, viola, a Penguin or three lol. They have some IndigoBlu gears for snowflakes, and I used the Kaisercraft Grunge font stamps to make the Noel.
So you still have plenty of time to enter, there's a fabulous set of stamps from The Artisic Stamper stamper up for grabs as well as having your work published in the magazine itself!

Dragons Dream #124 In a Heartbeat

Firstly let me apologise for the rotten picture, no matter which way I looked the mica shone!!
This time at Dragons Dream TIO Trace has chosen the theme "In a heartbeat" with the ingredients of a beating heart, a weathered timepiece and a bit of grunge.
I cut my tag out of Kraftcard and inked up with Distress Ink, followed by a liberal spraying of copper mica powder. The stamp is from the Artistic Stamper and coloured in using chalk pencils.
Flowers and Spidersweb were added,both sprayed with Mica and my beating black heart embossed around the edge. Pop over to join in the challenge via the link on my sidebar and please don't forget to use at least one real stamp. Elizabeth x

TIO #81 Timepieces

This week Frankie is leading the TIO Challenge, dreaming of Timepieces. I decided to Christen the new stamp plate I got when I re-newed my Craft Stamper subscription, at Port Sunlight. She is a curvey girl stood infront of a pocket watch, by Artistic Stamper. I'd seen the stamp before, so I was delighted when I realised it was the freebie at the show!! I inked my tag in a mixture of milled lavender, dusty concorde, bundled sage and black soot distress inks. I stamped the lady out in black soot, then made sure the tag was dry enough to add colour on to with promarkers, and a white chalk pencil (fab bit of kit!). I then over stamped some Tim Holtz clocks around the edge in dusty concorde and bundled sage, to create a border. To finish off I added glossy accents to the clock face, and distress stickles in victorian velvet, and crushed olive.
