This time over at the Dragons Dream TIO Blog Jax has chosen the theme of the letter "M" and Holly, and of course as always at least one real stamp on your tags.
I've used the Music Score stamp from IndigoBlu along with their Merry Christmas Dinky stamp, which is great as it fits perfectly in a circle die, therefore no cutting out!
The Holly is a Marianne Die which is permanently on my desk at the moment, with just a few red gems added for the berries.
Pop over to the blog via my link and check out what my teamies have created and why not join in!!

Take It Make It Challenge - Christmas with a None Christmas Stamp
As you know our Take It Make It challenge at the Craft Stamper Blog is all about making a Christmas image from a non-Christmas stamp, so here goes..................
Per pick up a Penguin lol or rather a perfume bottle stamp from Joanna Sheen. I know I can't help my northern humour, and I love these quirky little fella's.
And by giving him some eyes in the loops of the ribbon, viola, a Penguin or three lol. They have some IndigoBlu gears for snowflakes, and I used the Kaisercraft Grunge font stamps to make the Noel.
So you still have plenty of time to enter, there's a fabulous set of stamps from The Artisic Stamper stamper up for grabs as well as having your work published in the magazine itself!

Craft Stamper Magazine's Take It Make It Challenge for August - Favourite Technique of the Year !
A little more inspiration for our challenge over at the Craft Stamper Blog favourite techniques. I was inspired by the fabulous Helen Chiltern stamping with embossing folders back in the March issue of this year.
I used two different Darice folders, two very bright Distress inks, watercolour card, and Sarah's Choice stamps from IndigBlu, stamped out in archival ink.
There's plenty of time left to choose your favourite technique, get creative and enter the challenge. Please leave a direct link to the post on your blog and don't forget to include stamping on your project.
The winner will not only receive some Sarah Hurley goodies but they will also be published in the Craft Stamper magazine, how cool is that?
So get stamping!

The Butterfly Challenge - Spots and Stripes
A very late entry for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge Spots and Stripes I don't use pink very often, but this Picked Raspberry is yummy!
I used it to stamp out the IndigoBlu "Bubbles Background" for the spots, and then using the edge of a Slim Jim, made the stripes. I added a little more ink around the edge, then decided I wanted the whole panel pink, who doesn't do pink???
The butterfly is from "Nature 1" was stamped out with FlitterGlu and Chariots of Fire "Mega Flakes" were added, the edge of the panel also has the same treatment.
It looked a little lost on the white card base, so I added a few pink butterflies for the background, and raised the panel on foam pads.

Sunday Stampers #316 Everyday I Write the Book
Hels chosen theme this week at the Sunday Stampers Challenge is "Everyday I write the Book". I haven't entered anything for ages, so was determined to join in again this week.
This is a recycled project partly from an old Dragons Dream tag and also from a box my sat nav arrived in (off on my travels this week, steer clear of the M60 lol).
I was never happy with my tag, but loved the butterfly and the bookpage paper, so inspired by the corrugated piece of box that I'd ripped and painted with "Mermaid" Fresco paint, I ripped into it to create a shape to fit onto the cardboard, and added some paint around the edges.
I was going to pop the whole thing on to a canvas, but decided that I liked the shape as it was, so just added eyelets and garden twine, which I think looks fab with kraft and corrugated cardstock.
Happy now I am, lol.

Dragons Dream TIO #169 - The letter "N" and a Stencil
This time over at the Dragons Dream TIO Helen has chosen the theme, she would love to see the letter "N" and "Stencils" on your tag, along with at least one real stamped image.
I've been playing with watercolour card again inking up and dripping water on to take some ink back off again, love how you get a different pattern every time. I then stippled Picked Raspberry through my stencil, added the IndigoBlu butterfly, and used a paintbrush to add a little more ink around the edges. Love the alpha grunge font from Kaisercraft, it's so useful and lives on my desk!
So there we are again another two stamp, two ink pad piece just to show you don't need much to start out stamping!!
We would love you to join in our challenge, just please remember to use at least one real stamp on your tag.

Dragons Dream TIO #165 The Letter "B" and Flowers
The fabulous Gabrielle has chosen the theme at Dragons Dream this time and would love to see the letter "B" and Flowers on your tag, along with at least one real stamp.
My "B" is butterfly, which was a leftover make from a Craft Stamper Magazine project last month, monoprinting, it was just too pretty to go in the bin, so it's been waiting for a new project to go on. The papers I've used were a free set of gorgeous Bobunny pages that were free in the Scrapbook magazine
They make great Mini Tattered Flowers, which you might see a few more of, slightly addicted to them now ;)
Hope you pop over and join in our challenge, just please remember to follow the recipe and use at least one real stamp on your tag.
