Imagination Crafts ODS Samples for Hochanda 29th July 2018

Sharing a couple of samples created for the launch of Imagination Crafts new One Day Special on Hochanda 29th July 2018.
I love the new cog Magicutz and with the addition of Black Gesso, Fashion Sprays and a little White Gold Wax they look amazing.

Also new on the shows this weekend are some fabulous new stencil designs, I am loving the clock and cogs one.

Having Fun with Eileen Hull's Collection of Colorbox Blends

O boy have I been having fun with these Colorbox Blends. I love the colours in Eileen's collections, they are so fresh and bright. The inks are really easy to hold due to the great design, and they hold so much ink, these will last a long, long time!

I chose just four colours to use on the gorgeous flowers and leaves from the new Book Club 2 Journaling Cards Flowers and Leaves, and Hearts Journaling Cards. I love all the names Eileen chose for the colours, they are such fun. Melon, Sunshine, Leaf and Frog.

I'll upload my project video, just as soon as I can find out where it's hiding on my laptop :O

I really love how the candles turned out, they have such a lovely vintage shabby chic look to them. And just look how well they match my storage boxes.

Eileen Hull Book Club Chapter 2 - The Wrapped Journal

I am loving the new dies in Eileen's Book Club Chapter 2 Collection, the wrapped journal is sure to be a huge success. It's a fantastic design and of course being a steel rule die will cut through various types of fabrics, leathers etc. My journal is cut from mount board and all the papers inside are just copier paper. I do have to confess that I took my Gel Press Plate out for the first time, and o boy is that addictive! Before I knew it I had decorated two journal covers and a stack of papers ready to be used inside them. Sadly as I got carried away trying different things out, I totally forgot to take any step by step pictures.

I've used Imagination Crafts Starlight Paint and one of their gorgeous mixed media stencils. The paints worked beautifully on the Gel Press, and I will definitely be playing with them on their again. The covers of each signature are slightly darker as they were created with paint.

Whilst the pages were created using the same technique, only this time around with Eileen's Color Box Blends, which give a beautiful soft finish.

I love how soft the colours turned out, it means you can use the pages to write on, without your writing getting lost in the background.

I finished the cover of the journal with some odd pieces left over from a Kaisercraft project a couple of years ago. I love that saying.
