Rainbow Lady's Challenge 143 Best Friend

This week we are being sponsored by Chi Chi Memories over at Rainbow Lady's Challenge blog, they have some fab digi images so please join in.
I couldn't resist these elephant's with the little floating hearts, think this image will get used a lot!! I printed the elephant's out on to text and graphic paper and then cut it out with a die. Added the bunting (part of a Molly Blooms set free with Simply Homemade) and used promarkers to colour the whole lot in. The text and graphic paper holds the ink, and stops and it from bleeding outside of the lines. This was then matted on to a piece of Anna Griffin spotty cardstock before putting it onto a scallop edge card. The greeting is one of Craftwork Cards with the colour changed to match, again with a promarker.

PDCC 70

Here's my offering for this weeks challenge over at the PDCC. The colours they have chosen this week are green, blue and a burnt orange. I do have a small confession, I haven't decided what to do with this yet, so it doesn't have a base card, shsssss don't tell!
Have been playing with the Cindy Loo cartridge for cricut and love the doily's on there! I used DCWV cardstock along with some Anna Griffin backing paper for the shadow layer. I shaded the animals around the edges with promarkers and added some petaloo flowers that I'd changed the colour of, and also some gems. Very "twee" for me and not a splodge of distress ink in sight LOL Elizabeth x

Rainbow Lady's Challenge 131 Vintage Delight

Another cold day here in beautiful white North Wales!! Perfect for a day in the warm and (nearly) dry craftroom.
The background card and also the holly embellishment are from Anna Griffin The Stamped image is by Personal Impressions and stamped out in memento tuxedo black ink on text and graphic paper, which is perfect for using promarkers on. I then cut out the image with one of Nellie's frames and tinted around the edge with fired brick distress ink to match the background card.
Can't believe this time next week I'll be sat chopping veg, Merry Christmas. Elizabeth xxx

TIO 51 Die Cuts

Silk, Leather and Lace! Well Silkies any way!
Created the background of the tag with an Anna Griffin stamp using the faded jeans distress ink pad, along with antique linen to blend the colour down. Cut out the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals using scraps of leather, love both the texture and the smell. Also cut out the Tim Holtz Fanciful Flight in chipboard (old box from work!) coloured it with a mixture of silkies and then added some fantasy film behind the wings to add another texture the tag.
Really must buy a new camera as the flowers have a fab shape when they are not squashed by the scanner!!!!

Gothic Arches Openings Challenge 29th May

I coloured up my base card using shades from the big and juicy soothing sunset pad.
Then using memento tuxedo black stamped the window from Lavinia and carefully water brushed out the ink from the glass. I coloured the window in with pro markers, and also shaded the brickwork a little more.
the edges of the arch were over stamped with an Anna Griffic flourish stamp and the sentiment is from Graphicus.
Finally I edged the bottom of the arch with a left over from a Nellie Snellon frame, and and finished off by adding two dragon flies that I changed the colours of from gold to pink.
