Dragons Dream TIO #121 Alice and the Rabbit Situation

This week at Dragons Dream TIO May is asking us to dream about Alice and the Rabbit Situation. Now you would think that by now I would own at least one Alice stamp living so close to where she lived, but no!! Thankfully Pamela at Free Vintage Stamps has some fantastic images and got me out of my sticky rabbit hole!
Both the window/door and steps stamps are from Lavina Stamps, funnily enough they are also down the road in the other direction!!! The letter stamps are by Anna Griffin. Everything has been coloured in using promarkers, and then a little black soot was added around the edge. Dragons Dream TIO #117 To Dye For!

This time over at Dragons Dream TIO Sue has chosen the ingredients of spray inks, die cuts and embossing of any sort.
I bought a couple of the Radiant Rains whilst I was at Port Sunlight earlier this month, they are gorgeous. The colours are so rich and intense, and just perfect for an inky background. I chose one of Carolines die cut Seahorses and also used the Radiant Rains on him as well. The seaweed is one of Lavinia's stamps and the sparkly sandy patch is a mixture of mica fragments, crushed glass glitter and embossing powder, all heated together, very sparkly in real life but doesn't show up too well on here.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge #189 Burns Night

This week at Rainbow Lady's Challenge we are celebrating "Burns Night" and are asking you to share your Scottish creations with us.
As you have probably guessed by now, I have a thing about tags lol, slight addiction! I've been playing with distress inks, a Clarity tree and shrubery stamp, and also the stag from Lavina which I love. This week at Rainbow Lady's Challenge we are celebrating Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon. It's a proper inky one from me this week with distress stains, inks and a fab dragon stamp from Lavina. OK so technically my dragon is Welsh lol...... If you were born in 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988 or 2000 then the dragon is your sign. You should be full of vitality and enthusiasm, and a popular individual! TIO #80 Fishes

This week it's Janet's turn to start the dream over at the DragonsDream TIO Challenge, with Fishes!! I bought the fish skeleton from IndigoBlu at Port Sunlight a couple of weeks ago, with this challenge in mind, but couldn't decide whether to use him or not. So snook him in the picture anyway!! I started with a cream base tag, and inked it up with a mixture of tumbled glass, stormy sky and brushed corduroy distress inks. For the seabed I spit a Mica tile and made layers of gilding flakes, ink and cosmic shimmer UTEE, then heated. I managed to add this to the tag with a blob of glue hidden behind the flakes. The chipboard letters are coloured in with a mixture of onyx satin, tuscan satin and bronze brocade Silkies. I also then used the same blend of Silkies to stamp out the Lavinia fish. TIO #66 Zentangle

Here's my offering for Frankie's TIO Challenge this week, Zentangle!! I've used two stamp's on this tag, the Unicorn from Lavinia, and the diamonds from Tim Holtz. They are both stamped out in Memento Tuxedo black ink. The rest of the doodling's are drawn free hand with a black fine line pen. I've added a splash of colour with a couple of promarker pens, although I was tempted to leave it black and white for a change. Happy Crafting Elizabeth xxx

Frames

Rubbish photo's I know, have got a daylight lamp, but it doesn't stand a chance today it's so dark! These are a couple of the frames that I've made for the fair tomorrow. The Lady that ordered them wanted photo frames, but sadly my frames are still in the post somewhere. So made a substitute and if she doesn't want them I'll just pop them out on the stall. Primed the frames with Eco friendly acrylic paint in lake, then I've used a mixture of cosmic shimmer ultra thick embossing powders and also Sheena's WOW embossing powder in silver bell's. As the ironing board was up I had a play with fantasy film and fibres, along with a Lavinia stamp. Added a touch of colour to the Mermaid on the reverse with promarkers, then just glued her in to the shadow box with Art Institute glitter glue.

Rainbow Ladies Challenge 125 Make a Picture

Better late than never!
The background is inked up in peeled paint, brushed corduroy, tumbled glass and black soot distress ink.
The very (ups) large stag is one of the new stamps from Lavinia. The tree's in the foreground are from Clarity and the background tree's and house are Hobby Art stamps all stamped in black soot.
Finished off with Art Institute glitter in crystal for the snow.

Gothic Arches Challenge - Jester

Sorry the whole Jester thing had me laughing from the start!!
Started off by printing off the baby image then trimming in to an arch shape. Tinted with faded jeans, antique linen and shabby shutters distress ink. Added Fairies from Lavinia Stamps with memento tuxedo black ink, and a fab sentiment from Stamp Camp (USA) bought at Port Sunlight last weekend. Made the Jester hat myself, and ok I confess I am that Baby hehe xxx

Gothic Arches Openings Challenge 29th May

I coloured up my base card using shades from the big and juicy soothing sunset pad.
Then using memento tuxedo black stamped the window from Lavinia and carefully water brushed out the ink from the glass. I coloured the window in with pro markers, and also shaded the brickwork a little more.
the edges of the arch were over stamped with an Anna Griffic flourish stamp and the sentiment is from Graphicus.
Finally I edged the bottom of the arch with a left over from a Nellie Snellon frame, and and finished off by adding two dragon flies that I changed the colours of from gold to pink.

Bah Humbug Challenge

Made me think black and pink this week!
The card base is made from Bazzill basic and the layered paper is from Anna Griffin.
Added black twill ribbon and used Nellie Snellon frame to make black border.
Used Silkies to create the background on which I stamped Lavinia's Fairies onto with memento black tuxedo.
Finally I added some snowflakes from Hot Off The Press.

TIO by the riverbank

Stamped out the bridge from Lavinia in tuxedo black memento, then added some colour with pro markers. Added foliage and tree's from Clarity in peeled paint, then blended the ink around the edge of the tag.
The sentiment came from a lucky bag of stamps a couple of weeks ago, so I am not sure what the make is, but the little humming bird is one of Anita's morsal stamps and coloured in again using pro markers.
