Rainbow lady's Challenge 153 - With A Flourish!

Sorry for being AWOL last week, think my mojo left me for a while, but am ok now, I think LOL. This week over at Rainbow Lady's Challenge we are sponsored by Steph, who yet again has provided some fantastic blog candy, up for grabs so thinking caps on gang!
The Wedding cards fly off the stall on a Friday morning, so have taken the opportunity to do a little re-stocking.
My flourishes are cut out from a cuttlebug die, with extra flowers and gems added, for some sparkle! The dress stamp is by Inkadinkadoo, I just think it is so elegant. It was coloured in using Promarkers, and then matted on to matching card , and the corners were cut out using one of Nellies dies.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge 141 Shabby Chic

Love is one thing not in the air at Chez Robinson this morning, especially for the bloke who stole Hubby's motorbike at 5am!!!
Over at Rainbow Lady's challenge blog this week we have gone Shabby Chic, which I must confess is one of my favourite styles of crafting. The background papers are from Cosmo Cricket, and already have a distress look to them, I just added a little bit more by running the edge of the paper through my scissors, and inking around with black soot. The flowery border was made with the reverse side of the plain paper, and fake stitches were added using a HOTP stamp (slight cheat but hey). All of the other stamps used are Sir Tim's and stamped out using black soot. If you look closely you will see that I've over stamped the flowers stamp in versamark, and embossed with Sheena's neutral ultra shimmer powder, it gives a gorgeous sparkle and also adds texture at the same time. I used a Nellie Snellon die to cut out the frame for the focal point and added bows to finish the card off. Hope you enjoy this weeks challenge and it's a fab prize Steph has sponsored us with. Rainbow Lady's Challenge 131 Vintage Delight

Another cold day here in beautiful white North Wales!! Perfect for a day in the warm and (nearly) dry craftroom.
The background card and also the holly embellishment are from Anna Griffin The Stamped image is by Personal Impressions and stamped out in memento tuxedo black ink on text and graphic paper, which is perfect for using promarkers on. I then cut out the image with one of Nellie's frames and tinted around the edge with fired brick distress ink to match the background card.
Can't believe this time next week I'll be sat chopping veg, Merry Christmas. Elizabeth xxx

Bah Humbug Challenge 38 Across the Miles

Ups not quite straight but I am still getting used to my new set up, sorry.
For this card I have used one of the ladybug and Friends stamps and coloured it in using promarkers. Once the image was dry I sprayed over with iridescent spray and sparkle, and mounted it onto a Nellie Snellon die cut frame.
The background papers, sentiment and holly are all left over bit's form a Hot Off the Press kit from a couple of years ago.

Gothic Arches Openings Challenge 29th May

I coloured up my base card using shades from the big and juicy soothing sunset pad.
Then using memento tuxedo black stamped the window from Lavinia and carefully water brushed out the ink from the glass. I coloured the window in with pro markers, and also shaded the brickwork a little more.
the edges of the arch were over stamped with an Anna Griffic flourish stamp and the sentiment is from Graphicus.
Finally I edged the bottom of the arch with a left over from a Nellie Snellon frame, and and finished off by adding two dragon flies that I changed the colours of from gold to pink.

Bah Humbug Challenge

Made me think black and pink this week!
The card base is made from Bazzill basic and the layered paper is from Anna Griffin.
Added black twill ribbon and used Nellie Snellon frame to make black border.
Used Silkies to create the background on which I stamped Lavinia's Fairies onto with memento black tuxedo.
Finally I added some snowflakes from Hot Off The Press.

Dreams

Well my hands are now a mixture of cerise, blue and bright green. Good job they are used to my multi coloured fingers in work!
Every now and again I actually use some of Glenda papers rather than sitting looking at them!
Inked up some Clarity card with the waterfall big and juicy ink pad, using cut and dry foam for a change.
Stamped the Elusive Images sentiment and birds on to the inked card and trimmed to size.
Cut frames out of black mirri board with a Nellie Snellen frame and mounted the birds on to them. The border along side of the sentiment is scrap from a frame I cut out earlier.
