Jacqui has chosen our theme over at the Dragons Dream TIO and would like to see the letter "R" and Music on your tags.
My Tango couple have been stamped out on to some re-cycled packaging and coloured using Promarkers. I then decided that they needed something to bring them to life as they were very dull, so using double sided sticky sheet I added Cosmic Shimmer gilding flakes to the back, much better (but sadly doesn't show up too well on camera).
The music paper and word sticker are from Creative Imaginations and the flowers were from Joanna Sheene many moons ago!
We would love you to join in our challenge, just follow the link, and please remember to use at least one real stamp on your tag along with the recipe.

More Inspiration for the Craft Stamper Magazine Challenge
A little more inspiration for our potato challenge over at the Craft Stamper Blog Take It Make It Challenge!!
I had great fun making potato flowers to go with my JOFY stamps and wanted to do something different other than on paper, so out came the fabric paints.
The background of the pre-made bag has been water coloured with fabric paints, then stencilled around the edges to fill out the whole panel. I stamped out the large pink flowers first then trimmed the potato down to print the blue flowers. Then added the JOFY stamps and coloured them using fabric paint, finally I added some hot fix crystals for a little sparkle!!!
So see if you can spot my little bag at the craft shows stuffed with goodies and say hello to me.
You will find loads more inspiration from the rest of the DT over at the Take It Make It Challenge and as always we have a great prize up for grabs, so get those entries in and good luck!

Dragons Dream TIO #166 Gold and the letter "Q"
The very talented Julie Ann has chosen the theme of Gold and the letter Q over at the Dragons Dream TIO.
Today would have been a very special birthday for my mum, so this is my Queen for a Day tag in her memory.
I love this soft gold coloured card, it is so pretty when it's embossed and makes a lovely background. The Prima doll has been coloured with Lyra Polycolour pencils, which I love, and her dress was stamped on to K&Co paper as was some of the Anna Griffin bunting.
The sentiment was from Stampcamp many moons ago.
We would love you to join in our challenge this time, just please remember to use at least one real stamp on your tag.

The Potato - Take It Make It at the Craft Stamper Magazine!!!
The rest of the DT and I have had great fun with the new Craft Stamper's Take It Make It Challenge which launches today.
The lovely Helen Chilton thought it would be a great idea to make stamps from, yep, the good old potato!!
So after the giggles and comments of "not done that since school" had finished, I think I can say we all had a fab time making stamps!
My first idea was to make a honeycomb and have bumble bee's on it, funny how plan's evolve isn't it?
My potato background was stamped out using acrylic paints and then spritzed with Dylusions. The edges were inked with Distress Ink and the Sheena stamp was heat embossed with black powder.
Follow the link to the Craft Stamper blog and check out the prints made by my fellow team mates. If you need further inspiration, check out the new magazine which is available in WH Smith's and all good craft shops today! And finally come and share your potato projects with us at the Craft Stamper Blog where we have some fab goodies up for grabs, as well as a chance of being published in a future magazine!!!
Good Luck

WOW Embossing Powders Metal Challenge
The April challenge over at WOW is Metal, I love their powders, I just hope I'm not too late to enter.
I started with an old wooden picture frame which was .50p from a charity shop.
Gave it a good clean and lightly sanded it back. I then embossed a sheet of craft metal though the E-bosser and painted over it with Martha Stewart acrylic paint, wiping some of it off with a baby wipe before it dried completely.
I then cut the metal into strips to fit the frame, and attached them with strong red tape. I left the corners square on this one, due to the pattern.
I then finished off the frame by adding a layer of Versamark all over it and covering with Wow Neutral Ultra Shimmer powder, before carefully heat embossing it.
Not bad for .50p and a little TLC.
Better get some jobs done now ;)

Natures Beauty at Crafty Individuals
This time over at Crafty Individuals the theme is "Natures Beauty". Our house backs on to the woods here in Colwyn Bay, and we have many different types of birds that visit our garden. I love to sit at the kitchen table with a mug of tea and watch them feed on the rockery. That's why I chose this stamp, as it covered all bases for me. The papers are from the spring paper pad and the image has been painted using pearly paints, and of course as I'm in flower mode, there had to be some!

Dragons Dream TIO #165 The Letter "B" and Flowers
The fabulous Gabrielle has chosen the theme at Dragons Dream this time and would love to see the letter "B" and Flowers on your tag, along with at least one real stamp.
My "B" is butterfly, which was a leftover make from a Craft Stamper Magazine project last month, monoprinting, it was just too pretty to go in the bin, so it's been waiting for a new project to go on. The papers I've used were a free set of gorgeous Bobunny pages that were free in the Scrapbook magazine
They make great Mini Tattered Flowers, which you might see a few more of, slightly addicted to them now ;)
Hope you pop over and join in our challenge, just please remember to follow the recipe and use at least one real stamp on your tag.
